WHEN TO KEEP SILENT?

If your words will offend another or kill a friendship.
If you can’t say it without bellowing.
When you are feeling overly critical.
In the heat of anger.
When it is time for you to listen.
When you don’t have enough facts.
If your words are unkind and convey the wrong impression.
If you would be embarrassed by your words later;
When it’s a replay of the same drama.
A meaningful silence is anytime more powerful than meaningless words.
